  • All human behavior, including in the business context, is motivated by seeking pleasure or avoiding pain. 
  • Success isn't a straight line - there will be ups and downs. 
  • Persistence is key. No matter how often you fall, you must keep pushing forward. 
  • Talent is essential, but passion is what drives success. 
  • When faced with adversity, the key is to keep showing up and working towards your goals, even when you need more motivation.
